Our 2012 Weddings. . . . A Look back

2012 was an amazing year for Wedding Photography by Martin Ward Photography in Perth, Perthshire.

We absolutely love our jobs as Wedding Photographers. What other job lets you be invited to spend one of the most important days in a couples life and capture their memories they will cherish for a lifetime together.

The lovely couples were all married in a variety of beautiful different venues throughout Perth, Perthshire, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond, and Central Scotland.

Wedding Photography Dundas Castle | Martin Ward Photography

On Sunday 19^th August we had great pleasure when we shot at Dundas Castle wedding photos at the wedding of Jamie and Michelle.

This lovely couple were married at Dundas Castle, South Queensferry, Edinburgh.

Jamie our Groom looked very smart and carried off the full Scottish dress of a kilt along with a plaid, Michelle looked stunning in her white dress and we couldn’t help but mention the stunning sparkly shoes she wore which was all hidden from Jamie till their big day!!

The whole day was an emotional loving day and you didn’t see a dry eye around while this lovely couple tied the knot.

The sun was not on our side but that didn’t stop this couple, we loved using the entire castle even the outside.

The newly-weds then waltzed to the top table and this was followed by the speeches. Again there was not a dry eye in the room while these speeches went on, although there was tears it was all happiness for this happy newly married couple.

And even though it had rained much on this day we still managed to get out and do some lovely sunset|dusk photos.

A lovely emotional wedding day for a lovely couple, Congratulations to Jamie and Michelle!!

We had the pleasure of doing the photos for Wille and Louise who got married at Orocco Pier. What an unbelievable venue and great backdrop for the photos.

On 22nd August 2011, a panel of judges will pick three finalists whose story shall be posted on my Facebook page; the winner shall be the couple who get the most comments on their story on my page. Obviously the best stories will have a better chance of getting the most comments on Facebook so make sure you give me a good story! The voting will close on Wednesday, 24th August 2011 at 8pm and the winner will be announced on Friday, 26th August 2011.

RULES
- I shall consider a wedding anywhere in the world BUT any wedding outwith Central Scotland shall be subject to travel and accomodation costs to be paid for on signing a contract to secure your date. Obviously dates I am already booked on cannot be considered.
- You must send your email to studio@martinwardphotography.co.uk with the following information; names of the bride and groom, wedding date, wedding venue(s), contact telephone number for the bride or groom, and your blurb as to why this couple should be considered - anything missing from the above list will void that entry. An email will be sent within 24 hours of receiving your entry to say firstly if I am available and secondly if your entry has been considered, and if the wedding is outwith Central Scotland, how much the travel/accomodation fee will be.
- You must not already have a professional photographer booked and Martin Ward Photography will have free range on the wedding day to photograph the day the Martin Ward Photography way, and use the images in advertising, promotion etc.
- Any client already booked by Martin Ward Photography cannot be considered.
