Wedding Photography Dundas Castle | Martin Ward Photography

On Sunday 19th August we had great pleasure when we shot at Dundas Castle wedding photos at the wedding of Jamie and Michelle.
This lovely couple were married at Dundas Castle, South Queensferry, Edinburgh.

Jamie our Groom looked very smart and carried off the full Scottish dress of a kilt along with a plaid, Michelle looked stunning in her white dress and we couldn’t help but mention the stunning sparkly shoes she wore which was all hidden from Jamie till their big day!!

The whole day was an emotional loving day and you didn’t see a dry eye around while this lovely couple tied the knot.

The sun was not on our side but that didn’t stop this couple, we loved using the entire castle even the outside.

The newly-weds then waltzed to the top table and this was followed by the speeches. Again there was not a dry eye in the room while these speeches went on, although there was tears it was all happiness for this happy newly married couple.

And even though it had rained much on this day we still managed to get out and do some lovely sunset|dusk photos.

A lovely emotional wedding day for a lovely couple, Congratulations to Jamie and Michelle!!

Wedding Photography - The Vu, Bathgate, West Lothian , Edinburgh | Martin Ward Photography

On Tuesday 7th August we had the great pleasure of covering the first of three wedding of that week, when I shot TheVu Bathgate wedding photos at the wedding of Kenneth & Kerry.
This lovely couple were married at The Vu in Bathgate, West Lothian, Edinburgh.

Kenneth our Groom looked very smart in his mess uniform for the ceremony and then he turned out to his Kilt to show off his little bit of Scottish flare. Kerry looked gorgeous in her Ivory wedding dress, escorted to the altar by her brother.

Kenneth and Kerry had the sun on their side and it shone all day, ensuring plenty of outdoor wedding photography after the ceremony.
The newly-weds then waltzed to the top table and this was followed by the speeches. We really loved Kenneth’s speech along with his power moves in which we had great fun capturing!

We even managed to catch the golden sun set with our lovely couple which made it a nice time to end for their wedding photography at The Vu in Bathgate, West Lothian, Edinburgh.

A lovely wedding day for a loving couple, made all the better by the beautiful news of pitter patter of a baby on the way!! Congratulations to Kenneth and Kerry!!

Paul & Amanda's Wedding | The Cruin, Loch Lomond | Wedding Photographer | Martin Ward Photography

We absolutely love our job as wedding photographers. What other job lets you be invited to spend one of the most important days in their lives and capture their memories that will last a lifetime. All while on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

Paul and Amanda, 2 of the most wonderful people we could meet got married at The Cruin early in June. We had a great time enjoying spending time in both their company and also enjoying the surrounds. There was even a special "ROYAL" guest appearance on this the Jubilee Weekend

Joe and Cicely were married at Comrie Croft in the picturesque Perthshire countryside. They invited Martin Ward Photography along to capture their memories from their big day.

This wedding has to hold the record for the quickest ceremony we've ever seen, barley lasting 3 minutes.

Here are a few highlights from the day

It was a pleasure meeting both Joe and Cicely and we are delighted that they chose us as their wedding photographers for the day.
