Perthshire Wedding Photographer | Martin Ward Photography Offers Free Pre-Wedding Shoots

Choosing a wedding photographer requires a huge leap of faith particularly if you have not been recommended one. Every website seems to be roughly the same and every photographer is offering roughly the same in terms of packages and options. It’s a daunting task.

Where I like to try and be different to stand out from the crowd of other Perthshire Wedding Photographers I am offering a free pre wedding photo shoot to anyone who may be interested in booking a photographer for their wedding. There is absolutely no obligation to book me for your wedding after the shoot but it gives you a chance to see whether I'm the photographer for you, and of course it gives me a chance to show you how great I can make you look.

A ‘pre wedding shoot’ is photographers speak for ‘a photography session before the wedding itself’. Its a great opportunity to not only get some great relaxed photographs of you as a couple but also to get used to being photographed. You get to know your photographer and understand what is possible and your photographer gets to know you a little and understand what you’re looking for when the big day arrives.

Once you have the photographs from the shoot you decide whether to book me or not, no hassle, no strings, it really is that simple.

HOW
- your wedding MUST be between November 2011 and December 2012
- by emailing me on studio@martinwardphotography.co.uk before 15th August 2011 with a photo of you and your partner and a story telling me why you should win; it could be for any reason; a lovely story of how you met, a heart-breaking story of how love won through the odds, whatever!

On 22nd August 2011, a panel of judges will pick three finalists whose story shall be posted on my Facebook page; the winner shall be the couple who get the most comments on their story on my page. Obviously the best stories will have a better chance of getting the most comments on Facebook so make sure you give me a good story! The voting will close on Wednesday, 24th August 2011 at 8pm and the winner will be announced on Friday, 26th August 2011.

RULES
- I shall consider a wedding anywhere in the world BUT any wedding outwith Central Scotland shall be subject to travel and accomodation costs to be paid for on signing a contract to secure your date. Obviously dates I am already booked on cannot be considered.
- You must send your email to studio@martinwardphotography.co.uk with the following information; names of the bride and groom, wedding date, wedding venue(s), contact telephone number for the bride or groom, and your blurb as to why this couple should be considered - anything missing from the above list will void that entry. An email will be sent within 24 hours of receiving your entry to say firstly if I am available and secondly if your entry has been considered, and if the wedding is outwith Central Scotland, how much the travel/accomodation fee will be.
- You must not already have a professional photographer booked and Martin Ward Photography will have free range on the wedding day to photograph the day the Martin Ward Photography way, and use the images in advertising, promotion etc.
- Any client already booked by Martin Ward Photography cannot be considered.

As a wedding photographer I love summer weddings – gorgeous hats, kids playing outside and a glass of bucks fizz on the lawn. Nicola and Chris' wedding at Balbirnie House Hotel was as lovely and relaxed as it sounds.
